Couples Therapy

Couple Appointment: $250* for 1 hour and every hour after that or part thereof.

Intensive Couples Therapy Session: $1000* (half-day) or $1750* (full day).

2-Day Intensive Couples Retreat: Midweek $4,660* and weekend $5,078* (includes assessments and analysis, individual pre-workshop sessions for each partner (50 minutes each), therapy sessions over 2 full days and one follow-up joint 60 minute session).

Individual Consultations

Standard individual consultation $215* (50 minutes).

Concessional individual consultation (pensioners, students and Healthcare card holders) $165* (50 minutes).

*These fees are as of 1 July 2024. Fees are annually revised on 1 July and current clients will be notified via email before any changes to your fee structure.

The scale above is guided by the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi) schedule of recommended fees, however these charges are lower due to our location.

You do not need a GP referral to book an appointment.

Please note that Saturday and public holiday appointments will incur a $20 surcharge.

In the case of a cancellation:

40% of your appointment fee will be charged for the appointment cancelled without 48 hours notice.

For cancellations of sessions where a deposit has been paid, the deposit will be retained for sessions cancelled with less than 1 months notice.

Cancellation policy: Cancellation fees are the responsibility of the client. We will retain the capacity, at our absolute discretion, to charge a cancellation fee in line with the notice periods above. 

Medicare rebates are available for individuals who have obtained a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from their GP. Such a plan entitles you to 6-10 sessions in a calendar year with a rebate of $93.35 per session.

Medicare does not offer rebates for couples therapy at this time.

You may be eligible for rebates from your private health insurance depending on your personal plan. Please check directly with your private health fund in this case.

You need a GP or Specialist referral to under the Medicare Better Access Scheme to be eligible to receive rebates from Medicare.
